A Visit To R.H.A. With A Surprise!

I was getting ready to go back to school. I took the first couple of days off because I was on our last second vacation. I took a walk through the campass to get the feel of things again. I would be staying there. :)

I leaned up against the teather pole. I often played that game last year with ivy at recess.  I was temped to hit the ball around once, but I didn't want to break the peace. It was dusk. And it was getting darker every second.

I was just about to leave but......

I heard a small quiet whimper. "What's That??!" I thought, more curious than scared. I am often too curious and get myself into trouble. But, this time I wasn't thinking about that. :)

I started searching for whatever made that sound. "Is it in the wagon?" I said to myself.

"Or maybe in the bushes." I mumbled.

I eyed the pool. In rose holloe they have a swim team. I joined it this year! Practice and stuff will start in the spring. I think I will join water polo too. :) Anyway, I didn't think anything would be there, but I wanted to check....

nope.

I drug my feet to the swing set. I leaped up on one of the swings and started to pump. I couldn't think of any other hiding place here in the school. "I just have to think harder." I thought.

I leaned up on the swingset, ready to go home. I wanted to find the thing, but it would be dark soon, and I had to walk home. I didn't want the dark to catch up to me.

I heard it again!! There it was again...and again!! And..Oh! There it was! The cutest thing i had ever seen. It was....

A sweet doggy!!!!! She was a white terrier.

at first she just stood there, wagging her curly haired tail. Then she bounded toward me, and jumped on me! She "kissed" my face and cuddled up to me. I loved her the secind I saw her. :)

I picked her p in my arms. "Awww you're just a puppy." I said softly to her. I had a pink poka dotted ribbon in my pocket, and I took it out and stuck it in her hair. "Cuteness!" I laughed.

I was thinking on names the whole  way home. Lolly? Honey? Holly? Gretel? Annie? Galahad :)? I needed a cute sweet, yet tough name for her.

Missy. That was the name for her....Missy. When I got home everyone loved her. Kit, Elizabeth, felicity, molly, Natalie, Olivia, Kanani, and Ellibob all loved her. We are going to keep her!! Yay!
